Honors Algebra 2 PDs 456
This course includes continuing the study of linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions. In addition we will extend our numeric and logarithmic ideas of accuracy, error, sequences, and iteration. Cyclic and bivariate modeling is embedded. Proper use of statistical techniques and methods for probability events and computations using independent and bivariate data are included in applications of finance, health, ecology, and epidemiology for informed decisions. This class meets the Algebra II requirements from the State of Michigan as well as the Common Core State Standards.
